Each of the pieces that make up the collection of lamps called Lightline is a celebration of glass as a unique material. The light line concept – light line, uses the different qualities and shapes of glass. The design uses the effect of uniform light scattering on a sandblasted surface, which, seen in profile, is perceived as a line of light. The lamp is mainly made up of glass components represented by a base and a shade. At the base is a hidden LED spotlight in the metal coating and fitted with a three-layer opal glass diffuser that serves to scatter light. The upper surface, sandblasted by hand, is treated with a special nanotechnological preparation to avoid unwanted fouling.
The collection is made up of four intimate light lamps.
